David Vincent for Streeton

About David

I moved to Olinda many years ago, and with a grown up family I've got the time and energy to devote to giving back to the community.

I run my own management consulting firm, and have been working with not for profit organisations that support mental health and job seekers. With everything going on right now, I think these are vital services and I'm privileged to be able to help out.

I bring clear thinking, compassion and a deep sense of inquiry to everything that I do.

My background

In business

I have a proven track record across the insurance and finance sector in ASX 200 companies; leading customer service, transforming businesses and supporting Human Resources.

I have developed strategy, managed multi-million dollar budgets and led cross functional  teams.  This has given me the skills to work in complex organisations and the practical experience to get things done.

If you would like to know more about my professional background, feel free to check out my LInkedIn profile.

As a volunteer

I believe that giving back to the community is a personal choice and deeply fulfilling.  It's something that I make time for, especially where I can apply my personal experience and business skills.

I volunteer as a mentor for emerging leaders, and  as a career coach helping people to work out their career direction.

I also help not-for-profit organisations to improve their business processes and practices.

Just for fun

I'm lucky to live close to the National Park, so get out and about whenever possible and thoroughly enjoy heading out to local eateries and wineries.

A few years ago I bought my first horse, and get to spend a lot of time in the fresh air riding, or sometimes just hanging out in the paddock.

Even under the current restrictions, there is plenty to enjoy on our doorsteps and we're fortunate to have so much within walking distance.
